How to delete your data
Last updated: November 2, 2026
Disconnect a social profile
- In 7ly Social, open Clients, choose the brand and go to Connections.
- Open the menu of the profile and choose Disconnect. Its access token is deleted at once, and its recent posts and figures kept for previews are deleted with it.
Remove 7ly Social from the network
- Facebook and Instagram: Facebook › Settings & privacy › Settings › Business integrations (or Apps and websites), choose 7ly Social and remove it.
- Instagram (professional account): Instagram › Settings › Website permissions › Apps and websites, and remove 7ly Social.
- Threads: Threads › Settings › Account › Website permissions, and remove 7ly Social.
- TikTok: TikTok › Settings and privacy › Security › Manage app permissions, and remove 7ly Social.
Once access is removed, 7ly Social can no longer read or publish on that profile, and the profile shows as needing reconnection until it is disconnected.
Delete everything
To delete all the data of an account, a client or a person (library files, posts, comments, history and connections), ask the agency that manages your brand; it can request it from the 7ly Social team. We confirm the request and delete the data within 30 days.
